Before moving to Japan and starting a new life I was working my way toward being a semi-pro photographer. I have photographed weddings and models as well as sold prints, licensed photos for publication (in books and CD inserts), and have had photos show publically. Now that I've settled into my new life in Japan I'd like to continue working on some serious photography and having my work seen more.
My true love lies with creative and artistic photography. I love nature and landscapes as well as artistic views of Shinto and Buddhist things in Japan now. I enjoy alternative techniques such as near-infrared and long exposures. I shoot both color and black and white depending on the subject.
